Good to know
- No food allowed on tour
- Bottled water or covered drinks allowed
- Comfortable walking shoes are recommended
- November 12th - March 10th: Minimum numbers of 4 guests are required to run tour.
- Under Kentucky law, a farm animal activity sponsor, farm animal professional, or other person does not have the duty to eliminate all risks of injury of participation in farm animal activities. "There are inherent risks of injury that you voluntarily accept if you participate in farm animal activities." "By purchasing ticket/s you agree that Thoroughbred Heritage Tours is not liable for any injuries or death that may occur due to participating in a farm animal activity in Kentucky".
- There is no age limit but a ticket is required for all children. It is not recommended for children under six. Kentucky State Law requires infants and/or toddlers must be in a car seat, rear facing until 2 years of age. Children younger than 8 years old and between 40 and 57 inches must be in a booster. Children younger than 8 but taller than 57 inches do not have to ride in a booster seat.

Well worth it. Our tour...
Well worth it. Our tour guide was extremely knowledgeable. We were able to see Keeneland Race Track even during the horse sales and a couple of horse farms. Learned so much about breeding these magnificent horses.
Excellent tour
Nick and Rose were not just guides they knew everything about horses and all that goes with it. Nick was like an Encyclopedia of all things “horses.” Would go back and do this tour again. Every question answered and Nick’s personality was great and exciting. A great Ambassador for the industry and Lexington and State of Kentucky!!

This tour was so much fun!
It was a fantastic tour. Our tour guide was wonderful and was very knowledgeable about Thoroughbred horses. We got to see several farms, and engage with the horses. He made the tour so much fun, and was very friendly and welcoming. We enjoyed this event so much!
