Kayaking in the Adriatic Sea with Snorkeling from Split

Meet up with your kayaking group in Split’s city center in the morning. You’ll head to Podstrana Bay, where you’ll get your kayak and life jacket. After getting an introduction to kayak paddling and steering, you’ll head toward the mouth of the Zrnovnica River. Pass under the bridge as you admire the scenery of mountain ridges and green fields on either side of your boat. Continue heading west along the shore, passing by the city of Stobrec with its limestone cliffs and traditional houses. If you’re feeling adventurous you can also take a break here for cliff jumping from a height of 19 feet (6 meters). Paddle until you reach a secluded pebble-lined beach where you’ll take a break. Use your time at the beach however you wish, choosing to sunbathe, snorkel, or explore the surrounding area. After your beach visit, you’ll paddle back to your starting point and then head back to the Split city center.
