We’ll drive you and the gear out to where you start and your Mission is to paddle it all back! Head off with your buddy, partner or group of friends and enjoy a morning of paddling on Lake Wanaka. We’ll arm you with a kayak, safety equipment and a map, drive you to the start and your mission is to paddle back to Wanaka Township.

Why take this tour?
You’ll get lots of good advice from the folks at Paddle Wanaka. We’ll help you plan your route based on the weather and your experience level. Plus we’ll provide transport to your starting location, so you only need to paddle one way! Meander along the coastline, power down the lake, explore the local islands, jump off the jetties or picnic in style. How you take on this Mission is up to you.

About operator:
We are Lake Wanaka's premium Kayak & Stand Up Paddle board (SUP) operator, running exclusive guided trips of Lake Wanaka and the upper Clutha River. We also offer beach rentals from the lakefront allowing people to discover the lake at their own pace. We use modern sea kayaks and equipment suitable for beginners to experienced kayakers. Our Fleet of Stand Up paddle boards has a range for abilities. We are a fun, family owned business. We welcome all abilities and will do our very best to cater for your needs, to get on the water and enjoy your time in Lake Wanaka! We are open year round (closed June) 9am - 5pm - In summer we often stay open beyond this! A great way to fill your day! We run winter lake tours... and if the weather is nice, you'll see us down on the Lake Front. Look out for the van & trailor!
