Good to know
- Heliport and helicopter are wheelchair accessible. A wheelchair lift is available at base to assist boarding.
- Children 23 months and younger are complimentary and considered a lap child.
- For each guest weighing over 240 pounds (108 kg), an adjacent empty seat is required to safely balance the aircraft. The second seat charge is half off of the regular tour price. Please arrange your additional seat after booking.
- Tour sights vary depending on weather.
- No scuba diving within 24 hours of departure.
- Gratuity is not included and is left to individual discretion.
- Bags, large cameras, extending selfie sticks are not allowed in the helicopter.
- Check-in is 1hr prior to tour time. This allows for guest weight check-in, a safety briefing, and to be escorted and seated on the aircraft to ensure an on-time departure. You will receive confirmation of tour time after booking. Late arrivals will not be accepted and non-refundable. It is the guest responsibility to allow ample travel time to our bases in case of traffic delays.

Birds Eye view
Steve was our pilot and being this was my first time in a helicopter I was very nervous. He made me feel very assured we were very safe. This trip was worth every penny. This company is a little more money but you will not be sorry to spend the extra. The sites, the information given and even his play list was perfect!!!
Awesome, But a Couple of Notes
This was great, but a couple of things to note. - if you get there early, you can potentially purchase premium seats next to the pilot. We arrived an hour and 10 minutes early, but people were already there and had already done this so if you really want front seats, get there really early. The helicopter seats six so if you are a party of two, you don’t know who you’re going to be in the helicopter with. Which brings me to my next note. - The other party that we were with was a party of three people and one of the guys was a bit obnoxious. They sell a video at the end of your experience and of what you talk about on the tour and your views from outside the helicopter, and if we had purchased a video, it would’ve been a running commentary of this guy asking how much would it be to charter from this place or that place. And also asking what kind of fish were in a school of fish hundreds of feet below that literally nobody could answer. This is in no way of fault of the company, but just to make you aware of other parties that you could be a part of and if you really want to front seat to get there super early. Overall good experience we just got unlucky with another party. And when I say another party, just one boomer. Thank you to our pilot for his patience.
TA ripoff
Do not book this unless you are into giving Trip Advisor $80 for absolutely nothing. Just go to Blue Hawaiian Helicopters and book it direct. I just had an online chat with someone associated with Trip Advisor as I am a long time member and it went nowhere unfortunately. Btw, it is an outstanding tour!
Spectacular Adventure
Must do experience, such a diverse island that can really only be appreciated by air. Smooth flight, great narration by our pilot Alex as we traversed the island. Definitely the highlight of our Hawaiian holiday.
