Travis was amazing and...
Travis was amazing and considerate of our time as we had to reschedule to our departure date (due weather) and he was very helpful and reassuring of time considerations.
Incredible Aerial Views
We did this same tour 8 years ago. It’s still a trip highlight. We have done helicopter tours in the past but they have gotten too expensive so the Cessna is a great compromise. We still saw most of what we saw on the helicopter but at a significantly lower price. Kauai is so beautiful it’s always worth doing a boat or air tour since so much of the island cannot be seen from the ground. An hour always feels too short. All window seats and individual headsets are so helpful. The biggest disadvantage is that due to time constraints you can’t see it all. Even though the pilot did circles for some of the areas I think those on the port side of the plane were a bit shorted and you cannot choose your side as passengers are assigned seats to balance weight. Our pilot also was not as chatty as the last one and I do like lots of miscellaneous comments on what we are seeing.
It’s a one hour flight...
It’s a one hour flight around the island, giving a view of so many beautiful places. It was well worth it.
