The hill station is located at an elevation of 2,175 meters from where majestic Himalayan panorama can be observed. In a clear day, one can notice Annapurna range, Manaslu range, Ganesh Himal range, Langtang range, Jugal range, Rolwaling range, Numbur range including Mount Everest. The hike starts from Nagarkot passing along forested area, villages, small tea shops, farmlands. It ends at the temple of Changunarayan. Changunarayan is a Hindu temple of Lord Vishnu and also one of the UNESCO World Heritage Site inside the Kathmandu Valley.
