Swayambhunath 'Monkey Temple' - located atop hill is a Buddhist Stupa with spectacular view of the Kathmandu. Tourist popularly call it 'Monkey Temple' due to many monkeys residing at it's forested area.
Pashupatinath - the temple of Lord Shiva is located at the banks of holy Bagmati River. Hindu funerals ritual are performed at the Bagmati River.
Boudhanath - is the largest Buddhist Stupa inside the Kathmandu Valley with many other monasteries.
