The boat ride to Kapisillit takes approx. 2.5 hours and takes us through the eastern part of the Nuuk Fjord system.
We will be sailing in a nice warm cabin boat, with heated cabin and seatings for all passengers, and also nice walk around deck with seats on deck.
The mountains flanking the fjord are some of the oldest in the world and provide precious material for local artists. Take in the vastness of the fjord while keeping a lookout for whales, seals and white-tailed eagles.
We will stop at Kapisillit – the last permanent settlement in Nuuk Region. Here you will have 30-45 min in the settlement to explore the place, before we start heading on.
We will then sail west towards the abandoned settlement Qoornoq where we will do a short stop of appx 25 min before we start setting course for Nuuk again
Price includes: Sailing with guidance along the way – Guided Hike at Kapisillit – Coffe and tea are also complimentary
