Kakheti wine tour - Group tour from Tbilisi

Take a tour of the Kakheti wine region and learn about its history and taste traditional Georgian wine. Visit 3(three) wine cellars and see the top highlights nearby. Enjoy lunch in a top restaurant that boasts wonderful views.

Kakheti group tour will begin at 9:30 AM from the Metekhi Church in old Tbilisi. On a long road from Tbilisi to Kakheti, it will be necessary to make a short stop for relaxation only just 20 minutes. The best option for this is to stop in the village  Badiauri, to taste hot Georgian bread baked in tone and cheese – as we call it  “Kakhetian fast-food”.

After this delicious break, we will go to the city of love – Sighnaghi. Sighnaghi as a settlement was first mentioned in sources in the first half of the 18th century. 

The Numisi Museum is full of unique historical artifacts, which have been collected by the museum owner over the years. Before degustation of two sorts of wine and “Chacha”, made by Georgian traditional method.  

There is also two big wine factory that should visit after lunch.  In these two big wine factories, you will have degustation in sum 6 sorts of wine, also short excursion inside the factory and ethnographic corners by local guides.
