Board a coach in central Zurich and journey south through Switzerland's scenic Bernese Oberland to Lauterbrunnen.
On arrival, you'll ride the cogwheel train to Jungfraujoch, one of Europe’s highest-altitude train stations, set 11,333 feet (3,454 meters) above sea level in a UNESCO-listed wilderness, and dubbed the ‘Top of Europe.’
Gaze at the snowy mountains as the train navigates the Kleine Scheidegg pass, and disembark at Jungfraujoch to enjoy the different activities and viewpoints.
Head for the Alpine Sensation, a visual-experience moving walkway that transports you past presentations showcasing the Jungfrau Railway’s history, and experience the Ice Palace glacier walk to see its glittering ice sculptures. Then, visit the Sphinx Observatory for stunning panoramas over the Aletsch Glacier, and the Eiger, Monch, and Jungfrau.
If you wish, refuel at the restaurant (own expense) before the cogwheel train ride to ‘Eigergletscher’, where you will change to the V-Cableway Eiger Express. After approx. 15 minutes you will reach Grindelwald Terminal, where your coach awaits. Your tour finishes at the original starting point.
