Why take this tour?

As song and dance is part of the Masai's everyday life, you will see glimpses or a rich and wonderful culture that is striving to maintain their culture and traditions. The village is less than an hours drive from Nairobi and as you sit in the village and manyatta, you will see traditional Masai herdsmen as they move their cattle and goats searching for fresh pastures. This tour is unique in that it is undertaken in a traditional Masai home under the tutelage of Masai women who support their families through making jewelry.. The Masai community that you become part is not a tourist attraction. It is a community that goes about it's days doing what the Masai do everyday. That's why it is one of the most intimate insights into Masai life and your mementos will be your treasured memories. And you will also get to meet the leader of the tribe who will also introduce you to the perspective of a Masai warrior. Overall a cultural immersion for everybody.
