Your tour begins with an afternoon pickup from your lodging in Victoria Falls at 3:30 p.m. in the winter or 4 p.m. in the summer. Head to the Zambezi River and climb aboard a jet boat, a water vehicle with specialty safety features designed to navigate in very shallow waters. Zig zag through a network of small and large islands renowned for their scenic wildlife, keeping your eyes peeled for sightings of hippos, crocodiles, and birdlife.
