After hotel pickup in Warsaw, you’ll greet your guide and board a minivan destined for the Paulite Monastery of Jasna Góra. As you travel, you’ll receive an introduction to Poland’s most popular pilgrimage site from your guide. On arrival at the Paulite Monastery of Jasna Góra, head to The Chapel of Our Lady — the monastery's oldest enclave — to see the revered Black Madonna, which is ceremoniously unveiled twice a day. During your tour, you’ll admire the world-renowned painting — also known as ‘Our Lady of Częstochowa’ — and see votives offered to John Paul II. Listen to history-rich commentary from your guide as you discover other objects of curiosity including a John Paul II’s blood-stained cassock and a golden rose. See, too, the unique paintings of the Golghota Gallery — executed by celebrated Polish painter, Jerzy Duda Gracz. Your tour concludes with a drop-off back at your Warsaw hotel.
