Beautiful countryside
Make sure to bring your rain gear! You will get wet and cold! It was a great tour Cullin had a way of sharing history by story telling. He also had a great playlist when he was not talking. Beautiful countryside be prepared to take lot’s of pictures!
100% worth it for Skye and the Fairy Pools
Tabbie was an incredible guide and the tour 100% worth the time and money!! Tabbie had an amazing actitud, she was very knowledgeable about the history of Scotland and the area, which made the tour very good as you could learn as you saw the views. Her tales about mythology and fairy tales in the Highlands and Isle of Skye were also incredible, making the time go by very fast. She was very easy to understand and explained just enough to appreciate the views and history without making it boring, making this a great tour for foreigners and visitors who are interested in the area’s past as well as scenery!! All stops were splendid! Very well chosen, breaking the trip in manageable intervals so not too long is spend inside the van at once, and the time at each stop was enough to admire the views properly. The only thing is that the route was slightly different as advertised on Highlands Experiences website, several stops advertised there were not actually on the tour, and a couple stops that we did do weren’t advertised. The main stops and highlights (Skye and the Fairy Pools) were as posted, but the website mentions a whole section of the tour through the north (Black Isle, part of the North Coast 500 route, Loch Carron, and the mountains of the North-West Highlands) which we didn’t do. This was slightly disappointing since I was looking forward to going as far north as possible and this change was not addressed nor explained during the tour. Regardless I would recommend the tour, and specially Tabbie, since she was an amazing guide!!
