Make your way to Inverness bus station and travel by air-conditioned minivan through the Scottish Highlands. Stop in Loch Ness, where you’ll enjoy a stunning view of the lake and hear the legend of the notorious Loch Ness Monster.
Continue to lakeside Invermoriston and then pass sights such as the Thomas Telford Bridge, Glenmoriston, and the Five Sisters mountain range on the drive to the west coast. Stop to admire the striking ruins of Eilean Donan Castle, before crossing the Skye Bridge to the Isle of Skye.
On the island, break for lunch (own expense) in Kyleakin and marvel at the rugged landscapes of the Cuillin Hills and then visit the island capital of Portree, where you will have free time to sightsee or browse the shops.
On the return journey, listen as your guide points out landmarks such as the Isle of Rum, Achnasheen, the Black Isle, and the isle of Eilean Ban. Arrive back in Inverness in the evening.
