A famous Italian saying says “Ischia is where you eat, drink and whistle”, a relaxing place that is worth a visit in a summer day.
Your local guide will meet you at the port of Naples, Molo Beverello, and together you will reach the island of Ischia by jetfoil. The first stop will be Bar Calise, where you will try a Sfogliatella, a blend of ricotta cheese and sugar encased in puff pastry. Then you will go to Ischia Ponte, where you can admire the Aragonese Castle. Overlooking the sea, you can enjoy at the fruit stand a glass of juice, made from the seasonal fruits. Next you will try a Panino con mortadella, a sandwich with mortadella, at a local Salumeria. Then you will reach Fontana, the highest town in Ischia, where you will sip a glass of wine, try some fresh pasta, all while admiring a breathtaking view. Your last stop will be Sant’Angelo, famous for its natural hot springs. At the end of the tour you will go back to Naples with the jetfoil, thinking of your day while whistling.
