Starting/ Ending point is Plaza Río 2 Shopping Center located just in front of the Matadero Cultural Center former municipal slaughterhouse and today one of the most trendy and modern points.

After visiting Matadero, you will go through the Madrid Río park where you will enjoy one of the most ambitious projects to recover public spaces. The highway was relocated under the ground, so that pedestrians and cyclists could enjoy a car-free road, crossed by the most important centenary bridges in the city.

From the river banks you can see the skyline of southern Madrid (Royal Palace, Almudena Cathedral, and others) .
