Imlil is the heart of the hiking area and a trekkers paradise and perfect for an Imlil day trip.

Once you arrive in Imlil, you will immediately feel the warmth of Berber hospitality. Wear some solid walking shoes and depart from the village to trek in the nearby trails to a village called Armed you will experience the beauty of Mount Toubkal from the valley below. Standing at 4170 m Mount Toubkal is a big attraction for day trips and serious trekkers alike.

Along the way you will interact with daily life in the Berber villages and learn about the Berber’s lifestyle in the valley. Trek along trails through the beautiful forests and see waterfalls and fresh streams along the way. If you prefer to ride, we can happily arrange a mule (and muleteer) to guide you up to the village on a “Berber 4×4”.
