Ijen Crater Blue Fire Tour start from Banyuwangi - Midnight Departure

You will pick up by our driver from your hotel at Banyuwangi city around 12.00 am (midnight). Then continue to drive to Paltuding area (Ijen parking area). When arriving you will meet our Local Ranger, have a short briefing before the hike up to the Ijen crater rim. Arrive at the top, you will continue descend the rim to see the blue-flames, our local ranger will lead your way. Back to top, have a chance to see the sunrise of Java and explore other areas.

Afterwards, go back to Paltuding and have a morning coffee before back to Banyuwangi city. If you still have energy, take a short visit to Jagir Waterfall on the way to Banyuwangi. You will arrive at around 9.00 am.

Ijen crater tour is one of the famous tourist destinations in East Java, Indonesia. On this tour, you will pick up at midnight from your hotel in Banyuwangi to Paltuding (Ijen entrance gate) to see of blue-fire in the world, and also meet sulfur miners who always carry 20kg yellowish stone pacing up to down from crater. You will be accompanied by our friendly local guide to trek from Paltuding (Ijen Parking area) to crater. While at the top, you will see an amazing panorama of the sulfur lake.
