Join me on a unique culinary journey through the centuries old traditions of miners and lace makers in a charming little town of Idrija. Heritage of mercury mine is inscribed on UNESCO list and unique foods and drinks represent an important yet more intangible part of it.
We will educate you about authentic local food of the past, present and future. The tour is the right mix of every day foods and festive dishes. The walk will lead us around the old part of the town from the castle to the traditional miners’ house.
Length of walk: 2-3km of easy walk all together (some hill and steps)

Vegeterians are welcome but unfortunately you will not be able to taste 90% of foods.
