Wonderful Experience!
I booked this tour with Your Day Tours through Tripadvisor. This was such a great, relaxed way to see many of Iceland's main sites without worrying about driving. We went in a sprinter van, which had free WiFi. My group was small, and I had a seat to myself. Our guide was so lovely and super knowledgeable, she also gave us authentic, yummy Icelandic chocolate treats at the end. :-) This tour is great for groups and definitely for solo travelers who want to sit back, relax, and take in the beautiful countryside. I had such a good experience that I booked a Northern Lights tour with Your Days Tours as well.
Go for the Coast!
Wonderful day with great opportunity to see the beauty of Iceland. Our driver/guide, Eric, was great. Knowledgeable with just enough humor thrown in to keep it entertaining.
Stunning sites!
My favorite tour so far! Stops were much less crowded but no less spectacular than the Golden Circle. Wendy was great with communication throughout the trip and provided lots of great information on the country and sites. She made the decision to reorder our stops based on a large crowd and lines at our first planned stop and by the time we ended the tour with that stop, the weather was even better and no lines! It was a long day, but efficient and was able to see everything! Plenty of walking, I think I had about 12,000 steps, but all spread throughout the day and a few things I did were optional. I didn’t know what to expect with such a long day on the bus, so that was great to get some movement in too.
Fantastic South Coast tour
Excellent value for money. Be prepared for any weather and dress in layers. There's plenty of room on board to stash a pack. We had the most beautiful weather, it was dreary the day before but glorious on our day. The views are breathtaking, the landscape is unlike anything I've ever seen. We saw several glaciers and waterfalls, walked behind Seljalandsfoss and I got completely soaked. If you don't mind that it's worth the view from behind a waterfall, magnificent. Our tour guide Lucky was very knowledgeable and friendly, it was a great day. We had lunch at Reynisfjara, with a nice choice of dishes and a view of the black beach. Absolutely 100% recommend this trip.
Fun day
Its a long day. Beautiful scenery and crowded for food but worth the effort. Bring a poncho you are going to get wet.
