Why take this tour?

Our certified guides/instructors will teach you the safety protocols, belay techniques and basic ice climbing techniques. This Tremblant ice climbing initiation. is designed for beginners and no climbing experience is necessary.

<li>Minimum 2 participants to start the activity. If alone, choose ''Participant solo'' and we will reimburse the difference if there is another person on the tour.</li>
<li>Waist size: 58-107 cm (23-42 in). Thighs: 43-71 cm (17-28 in).</li>

<li>Maximum 250 lbs (113 kg).</li>

<li>Children under 13 must be accompanied by a person 13 years + (participant or not).</li>

<li>Pregnant women cannot participate.</li>

<li>You must bring your own alpine ski boots.</li>

Additional information :

<li>Tremblant Climbing School is at the Tremblant ski resort. We are situated less than a 2-hour drive from Montreal and Ottawa.</li>

<li>Duration: Approximately 3 hours.</li>

<li>We recommend taking the 13h00 departure on very cold days. It’s usually a bit warmer in the afternoon.</li>
<li>It is easy to tear your pants on the crampons, so be careful OR bring old snow pants.</li>
<li>For groups of 9 people or more, the ice climbing duration is 1h30.</li>

<li>For guests who choose to reserve in advance (recommended), directions to meeting points will be provided in your reservation by email. Otherwise, directions will be handed to you when you reserve at The Activity Centre.</li>

<li>Prices do not include taxes or <a href="https://www.tremblantactivities.com/resort-royalty/"> mandatory resort royalty of 3%</a> and may be subject to change without notice.</li>

Cancellation Policy

CHANGE AND CANCELLATION POLICIES Requests for Changes or Cancellations to an existing reservation that are time sensitive, must be made verbally to a member of The Tremblant Activity Centre staff during working hours. 1. Cancellations or changes to all reservations within 48 hours of the start date/time are non-refundable (unless otherwise specified) (14 days for camping, cabins, treehouses). No shows or late arrivals are non-refundable. 2. Cancellations or changes to all reservations made prior to 48 hours from the start date/time are subject to a 20% charge of the total reservation amount (unless otherwise specified) (not applicable for our camping, cabins, treehouses). 3. We reserve the right to cancel an activity without notice(even though we will always try to let you know as soon as we cancel). This would normally be for, but is not limited to, safety and security reasons, climatic conditions, or equipment failure. In such cases an alternative date or full refund will be provided at your option. Gift Certificates Gift-certificates and gift cards are non refundable. Our gift certificates for a specific dollar amount never expire. Our gift certificates for a specific activity are valid only for a period of 3 months since activity prices change from season to season. After three months, certificates for a specific activity are redeemable for the original amount paid, and a surplus may need to so that it matches the latest price.
