Why take this tour?

Join us for a walk along Sonnenallee, one of Berlin's liveliest streets in the heart of Neukölln. We will visit family-run Arab restaurants and shops, and take the chance to try traditional home-made delicacies. We would visit a little Syrian spice shop where we will try some of the best olives in town, home-pickled by the family, before we explore the world of oriental spices. The next stop is all about Hummus - the history, components, preparation and cultural role throughout the middle east, we will try several different kinds of Hummus, and its most famous by-product, Falafel. For dessert, we reach one last sweet spot. We would visit a family-owned confectionary which entails a fascinating success story, where we will try some cheese-based sweets that can't be described by words.
