We will pick you up between 4:30 a.m. and 5:00 a.m. from your accommodation in Cusco. Then we will travel to the town of Mollepata in the rich countryside of the Apurimac Valley. The scenic drive lasts 2 and a half hours before reaching Mollepata, where we normally stop for 30 minutes for breakfast. Then, we will continue our journey to Soraypamapa, where we will begin our trek (4000m / 12,750ft). We will begin to climb a moderate incline for an hour and a half until we reach Humantay Lake (4,300M, 14,107Ft). From this point, we can enjoy the spectacular views of the turquoise waters of Lake Humantay, which is quietly located at the base of the picturesque Humantay Glacier and is one of the most impressive places in the Cusco region. We will continue our hike downhill for an hour and a half to Soraypampa, located at (4000m / 12,750ft), and have lunch. Finally, after an incredible journey, you will travel for 2 1/2 hours in a van before reaching your accommodation. Your arrival time in Cusco will be approximately 6:00 p.m.
