Hot Air Balloon Flight from South Wales

Head to Llanarth’s village hall on the day of your balloon flight, and meet the pilot and crew. If the weather is good, and you want to get involved, help the crew to set up your 16-man hot air balloon. After a safety talk from your pilot, step inside the basket, then float up and away. A glass of Champagne is provided. 

The Brecon Beacons is stunning from the ground, but its sweep of green hills is best appreciated from above. Drift over the Usk Valley, admiring a patchwork landscape of fields, broken up by little villages. The route doesn’t go as far as the Wye Valley, but on a clear day, you should get a good view from your vantage point in the sky.

Touch down and step back on to land and hop in a waiting vehicle, and travel back to the start point. Receive a flight certificate to take home as a souvenir, and then bid your pilot and crew goodbye.

Please note: Weather is unpredictable, so cancellations or rearrangements may occur. Practical clothes, suitable for the great Welsh outdoors, are recommended. A hat is also advised to protect your head from the heat of the balloon burners.

Enjoy an Exclusive Champagne Hot Air Balloon flight over the beautiful countryside of South Wales. Take in the stunning Welsh scenery as you float effortlessly through the sky. Minimum of two people.

You will meet our ground crew where you will be taken to the launch site. You will then meet your Pilot and be given a full safety briefing; you can get involved and help inflate the balloon! Your skilled and experienced Pilot will fly you over wonderful landscapes for up to one hour. When you land, you can help pack away the balloon and enjoy a glass of chilled Champagne or juice to toast your flight, you can also request a signed personalised flight certificate. You will then be taken back to the original meeting place in our vehicles.

Hot Air Balloon rides take place at dawn or dusk and the whole experience lasts around 3-4 hours.

Flights are weather dependent. Main flying season April-October.

All passengers weights MUST be advised at the time of booking, there is a surcharge payable for people over 18 stone (114kg)
Children must be accompanied by an adult

Please dress appropriately for a country walk for the time of year.
Subject to favourable weather conditions. Flights are sold in the form of a voucher which is valid for 12 months. You must inform us in advance if you are only available for one flight date so we can agree a refundable option (admin fees apply)
