Horseback riding and wine tasting

Highlights

  • Get acquainted with the horses, gear up, assist with the saddling and prep of the horses for the ride. Get a basic lesson in horse talk and controlling your horse. Each rider will be matched perfectly with one of our trail horses based on weight, height and level of experience. Ride for about 60 minutes through beautiful vineyards up to the hill of Custoza. Visit a family run winery and taste local white wine delighted by stunning views of the green countryside. Walk into the wine cellar, surrounded by the unmistakable smell of the old barrels, and learn about interesting winemaking techniques. Taste a selection of their most produced wines – white, rosè and red wine – paired with homemade cheese and salami. Then after the ride you can brush your horse and give him/her a snack. Note: If you are expecting a usual horse ride like many people have done in Italy, this is not the same. These horses are happy and full of life. They are very sweet and well-trained but you will have to do more than just sit there. You must be able to listen to instructions and be alert during the ride.
