Summary

Celebrating Holi Date: March 9 2020 After breakfast, we start our celebration with rubbing colors on the cheek. Later we visit Basantapur Durbar Square where there will be most of the celebration going on. There you can see many people singing, dancing and playing with the colors and if you want you can join them. For additional fun you can also visit various other concert places in teh city. Later we return to the hotel, take a bath and have a good rest.

It signifies the victory of good over evil, the arrival of spring, end of winter, and for many a festive day to meet others, play and laugh, dance, forget and forgive, and repair has broken relationships. Holi falls on the Purnima (Full Moon day) falling in the Vikram Samvat Hindu Calendar month of Falgun, which falls somewhere between the end of February and the middle of March in the Gregorian calendar.
