Hobbiton Movie Set day tour From Auckland

Your journey to Middle-earth begins with pickup from your central Auckland hotel and a journey to Hobbiton by air-conditioned minivan. On arrival, enjoy free time for lunch at the Hobbit-themed Shire’s Rest Café (own expense) or shop for souvenirs at the gift shop before your tour begins.

Lose yourself in J.R.R. Tolkien’s magical world of Hobbiton and the Shire on a guided tour of the 'LOTR' and 'Hobbit' film set. Your guide points out popular sites such as Bilbo Baggins’ house, the Party Tree, and the Mill; reminds you of memorable moments from movies; and entertains you with stories about the cast and filming. There are plenty of opportunities to admire hobbit holes, see authentic movie props, and take photos.
