  • This morning, we will come and pick you up at the train station, your hotel, AirBnB or accommodation in Beaune or the surrounding area.
  • Meet your Expert Guide
  • Meet your English speaking guide who is an expert on Burgundy Wines and who will go over the program and itinerary of your private wine tour with you. Then, board your Premium, air-conditioned vehicle and begin your private tour to discover the vineyards of the Côte de Beaune wine producing region. 
  • Arrive in the Côte de Nuits Wine Region, 1st Wine Tasting session
  • Take in the sights of the quaint villages of Fixin, Gevrey Chambertin, and Chambolle-Musigny as we drive along stunning landscapes of rolling hills and beautiful vineyards that produce some of the most famed wines in the world.
  • The Burgundy “Champs-Elysées” along the Grands Crus Wine Road include Vosne-Romanée, Gevrey-Chambertin, Chambolle-Musigny. Upon arrival, stroll through the vineyards of some of the mythical plots of the vineyard such as Romanée-Conti, Richebourg, La Tâche, Echezeaux, Chambertin, Clos de Vougeot, Corton Charlemagne or Montrachet. After the stroll, participate in a private visit to a famous estate where you will have a commented tasting of Burgundy wines that include different vintages.
  • Lunch in a Grands Crus Estate (included in price)
  • Depending on the day of your tour, we will take you to a famous estate in the Côte de Nuits or Côte de Beaune area for a food & wine pairing lunch. In each estate, you will have the opportunity to taste a selection of Pinot Noir wines as well as great white wines that are classified as 1ers Crus and Grands Crus wines. The food & wine pairing lunch consists in a regional 3-course meal that also includes local cheeses. 
  • 2nd Wine Tasting session
  • In the afternoon, after a short drive through prestigious appellations indicated by your guide, it will be time to enjoy your second wine tasting session of the day. This experience will take place in a private cellar. In an intimate and relaxed atmosphere, taste a large selection of wines that have been carefully selected by a circle of local experts. This tasting experience will be commented and is a perfect introduction to oenology in Burgundy.

  • Arrive in the Côte de Beaune wine region
  • The Côte de Beaune wine region covers roughly 20 kilometers (12 miles) between the northern and southern part of the appellation. Both red and white wines are produced here with Pinot Noir and Chardonnay being the main grape varieties planted. Historically  known as "Vin de Beaune" or "Pinot Vermeil" it wasn't until 1936 that the wines were classified using the AOC (Appellation d'Origine Contrôlée) classification system.
  • The appellation is home to some famous Grands Crus such as Corton, Corton-Charlemagne or Montrachet while other appellations have some 'climats' classified as Premiers Crus such as Aloxe-Corton, Chassagne-Montrachet, Pommard, Santenay or Volnay.
  • Wine tasting experience
  • Drive along the rolling hills and stunning landscapes through top rated wine appellations such as Meursault, Volnay, Pommard, Puligny-Montrachet, and Chassagne-Montrachet. Meursault, Puligny-Montrachet, and Chassagne-Montrachet wines are considered to be some of the finest whites wines produced in Burgundy while Volnay and Pommard produce some of the most elegant and delicate red wines of Burgundy. This is definitely high on the list of all wine lovers.
  • Here, you will arrive in a local estate to begin your Burgundy wine tasting experience. Enjoy a private commented tasting of local Côte de Beaune wines. Your guide, who is a wine expert, will be with you so do not hesitate to ask questions concerning the wines that you will be tasting.

  • To make it easier for you, we suggest 3 different options for your lunch that you can choose from during the booking process. 
  • Option number 1: Enjoy a local lunch at the table of a vineyard restaurant. Exquisite, traditional cuisine in an idyllic setting. This option is priced at 25€ per person, excluding wines. 
  • Option number 2: Enjoy food & wine pairing lunch at a family estate in Côte de Beaune or Côte de Nuits. Choose the wines you wish to pair with typical Burgundy dishes and cheeses. This option is priced at 79€ per person (subject to availability, closed on Sundays).
  • Option number 3: Enjoy fine dining at Château Le Clos de Vougeot with a 4 course lunch at the restaurant 'La Table de Léonce' with 4 wines included. This option is priced at 75€ per person (subject to availability, closed on Mondays during the season).
  • Travel to the Côte de Nuits wine region
  • Take in the sights of the quaint villages of Fixin, Gevrey Chambertin, and Chambolle-Musigny as we drive along stunning landscapes of rolling hills and beautiful vineyards that produce some of the most famed wines in the world.
  • The Burgundy “Champs-Elysées” along the Grands Crus Wine Road include Vosne-Romanée, Gevrey-Chambertin, Chambolle-Musigny. During this morning drive through the Burgundy vineyards, stop off at famous Romanée Conti for photo opportunities. Discover the beauty of our region, travelling in the calm of our beautiful vineyards, exploring nature and the climats creating our famous wines. 
  • Then it will be time for a prestige tasting in a private wine cellar. During this commented tasting session you will have the opportunity to taste our selection of Great Burgundy wines from different winemakers paired with regional cheeses or fine chocolates. Food and wine pairing suggestions, according to French traditions. Learn about the most famous local grape variety Pinot Noirs.
