- Subject to favorable weather conditions. If altered or canceled due to poor weather, cruise may remain dockside in the event of unfavorable sailing conditions.
- Due to limited capacity, refund requests made less than 24 hours prior to departure will NOT be considered. This includes missing the attraction for any reason. However, your ticket is transferable and valid for up to one year.
- The Creole Paddlewheeler is Wheelchair accessible with a weight-restricted mechanical lift. However, the Chalmette Battlefield Park is not wheelchair accessible for handicap passengers at this time.
- Boarding begins at 1:30 PM and the vessel departs at 2 PM sharp. Due to Coast Guard regulations, we are unable to extend departure time to accommodate individual guests.

Good and Bad
Mississippi's Final Stands was both good and bad. We took in the movie at the visitor's center and spoke with a very knowledgeable lady, who said she was almost 80, and she dedicated her time to do research. The ladies at the center were very helpful. We then followed a map detailing the trail the men took for the Battle of Brice's Crossroads. When we arrived at the National Cemetery, we were appalled at the condition of the cemetery. It is not well kept, and grass had overtaken the stones. To me this is a disgrace to the men that gave their life for their country.
Relaxing family time
Great food! Walk to battle field was too long for time permitted for elderly. Nice relaxing time with family ☺️
Relaxing and pleasant staff.
The cruise was nice and laid back. The band on the cruise was good. The dinner was satisfactory. I would recommend for a date or ladies relaxing event.
Wrong tour advertised
I was sold a historic cruise with a stop at the New Orleans battlefield which was to depart at 11am. It turns out there is no historic cruise at 11am. There is a different cruise at 11am which doesn’t stop anywhere. I was mis-sold an experience which is incorrectly advertised and have requested a refund but have not yet had a response from the company.
Absolutely Fabulous — A Must-Do in New Orleans!
We had an absolutely fabulous time on the Creole Queen river cruise! We were incredibly lucky to get a buy-one-get-one-free deal by booking directly, which made an already fantastic experience even better. From start to finish, the whole experience was amazing. The staff were brilliant throughout, friendly, welcoming and attentive, and the service was easily 10/10. And then there was the food! The gumbo and jambalaya were some of the best we’ve had since arriving in New Orleans, and the bread pudding was absolutely delicious too. We honestly weren’t expecting the food to be quite as good as it was. One thing that really blew us away, though, was the price of the wine on board. A large glass of Pinot Grigio was just $10! Try getting that anywhere else in the city, it’s practically impossible. It was such a pleasant surprise and made sitting back, enjoying the views and having a drink even better. The historian’s narration was also fantastic. It was genuinely interesting and really informative without ever feeling boring. I won’t spoil any of the surprises, but I learned a lot about the British — and I’m British! 😂 The information about Cat Island was particularly fascinating and really added something extra to the experience. If you choose to do the battlefield tour, there’s plenty to enjoy there too. However, if, like us, you decide not to disembark for the battlefield tour, you can simply stay aboard, relax and tuck into a few more drinks while enjoying the cruise. 🍷 All in all, this cruise is a must-do. Great food, great staff, fantastic views and some really great stories along the way. I honestly couldn’t recommend it more — just do it! You won’t regret it
