Hiking on the Summit Craters of the Etna Volcano, Cable Car ticket included

You will get up to the main craters of the Etna with a certified alpine guide. In full safety, you will marvel at the beauty of the highest active volcano in Europe at 3.300 meters above the sea level.

Departing from Sapienza Refuge, in Nicolosi, the cable car will take you up to 2.504m asl. From this point you will be riding a 4x4 Jeep up to 2900 meters. Then you will hike to reach the altitude of 3.340 m.

Carried out a long pause near the craters, you will descend in direction of 2002 craters and before heading up again in cable car to the departure point in Refuge Sapienza.

This tour is absolutely prohibited to people who have heart problems and asthmatics.

The amount of Hiking involved is 1,5 hour uphill and 2 hours downhill.

The tour can be cancelled in case of adverse weather conditions. The itinerary up to 3340 m can be slightly modified depending on the volcanic activities, for security reasons.
