Hiking Mount Slogen

The narrow and steep Mt. Slogen is one of the region most famous summits along with Mt. Skåla. You only need to reach the summit you understand why! «One of Norway’s finest summits for hiking – UTE summer issue 2012» This is a fairly demanding trip and you should allow for a full day to reach the summit and back. Prior hiking experience isn’t mandatory but we highly recommend it. . The view from the top of Slogen into Hjørundfjorden is magic! For those with fear of heights, we may recommend you another trip. It’s quite narrow up there!

This is along with Skåla one of the area’s most famous peaks, once you are up you will understand why. This is a fairly demanding trip and you have all day to get up. So if you want to do this route, it helps if you have done some hiking earlier, or if you are training on a weekly basis.
