Why take this tour?

The Veado Verde / Green Deer invites you to live an experience in ancient Roman lands. Learn about Roman habits and traditions so deeply rooted in and around the ruins of Conimbriga. The ruins of the quasi-imperial Conimbriga with its fountains House and its wonderful garden scenes, mythological passages, seasons, monsters, birds and sea animals. will be the starting point of a hike through the Mouros River valley. We will visit the waterfall where the romans bathed and will do much of the route on the banks of the same river. We will also pass by a small village at the base of Sicó Mountain.
