Your day begins at Kyoto’s NORU bicycle shop, where you’ll be fitted for a helmet and given a bike for the day. After that, start your bike ride and explore Kyoto’s hidden gems. The day will be easygoing, suitable for all fitness levels, and you’ll cycle roughly 4.3 miles (7 kilometers).
In addition to visiting hidden places that locals love, you’ll see some of Kyoto’s top attractions. Visit a UNESCO World Heritage Site—Kinkakuju temple—plus other temples such as Daitokuji, Kitano Tenmangu, and Koto-in.
Your guide will take you off the usual tourist trail to discover hidden alleyways, zen gardens, and beautiful scenery that’s often overlooked. It’s a glimpse at a side of Kyoto most tourists don’t see. You’ll end the day back at the original meeting point.
