Your afternoon tour begins with hotel pickup at 2pm, when you’ll board an air-conditioned vehicle destined for the Sacred Monkey Forest Sanctuary in Ubud.
On arrival, you’ll receive a safety briefing from your guide about how to behave around the free-roaming monkeys, whose behavior is temperamental. Then, wander around the forest, snapping photographs and admiring Hindu temples guarded by the macaques.
Shop for souvenirs in Ubud, considered the spiritual center of Bali, before driving north to Petulu Village to watch migrating white herons. Every evening at 5:30pm, flocks of white herons fly back to their nesting spots in the village.
Sip a cold beer while watching the natural spectacle. Your tour concludes with hotel drop-off.
