Half-Day Small-Group Madeira Village Safari from Funchal

Start the day with a pick up from either your Funchal hotel or the cruise port. Head towards Fajã dos Padres, a cliff of 310 meters, to start the safari. As you drive up towards the hills, you will stop half way to use the restrooms. Continue on your drive after that very brief break. You will then come to a serene spot where you will enjoy a view over the village of Jardim da Serra.

Next, descend towards the town of Fajã das Galinhas. Afterwards, make a short visit to Boca dos Namorados to have a panoramic view of the village Curral das Freiras. The terrain of the valley keeps this quaint village isolated from other communities. Upon completion of the tour, your guide will begin the journey back to Funchal using the motorway.
