If you are short of time and can’t enjoy the Full Day Numbers experience, try just a taste of the Numbers. This trip covers the biggest rapids of the day but cuts half of a day of very continuous and exciting whitewater from the Numbers Full Day trip.

Why take this tour?

Narrows Express is an exhilarating stretch of the Arkansas River packed with one rapid after another! It makes for nonstop paddling, fun and excitement along with beautiful views of fourteen thousand ft. peaks! Extremely rocky, this steep and very technical series of drops requires pinpoint precision paddling. Be prepared to make radical maneuvers as you punch powerful hydraulics and make lateral raft moves to thread the needle in boulder-choked drops. If you have time to look around you, the views of the 14,000 foot Collegiate Peaks are awe-inspiring. This trip is one step tougher than our Royal Gorge trip. If you’re looking for extreme action close to Denver or Breckenridge, this is the trip for you!

WHAT DO YOU NEED TO BRING:

• Quick drying clothes
• Wool or pyle sweater or polypro (loaners available)
• Sunscreen and lip protection
• Shorts and a swimming suit are recommended
• Hat or Visor
• Sunglasses with securing strap (securing strap for prescription glasses)
• Cash for souvenirs and guide gratuity (if appropriate)
• Each boat will carry accessible drinking water, but if you require a lot of water or do not wish to share with other passengers, please bring your own water bottle.
• Wetsuit* (required)
* Available Rentals: If you do not own a wetsuit, wetsuit booties or a splash jacket; Wilderness Aware Rafting have rentals available for an additional cost (to be paid direct)
