How better to know a city than to walk it, seeing its sights and hearing its sounds? This tour includes Tiananmen Square, with its National History Museum and Great Hall, the Forbidden City, and the Pearl Market. Your private guide will add a textured layer of information and anecdote. After a longish walk at your own pace we arrive at The Pearl Market. China has been called the world's factory. If that's so the Pearl Market is its outlet store! Shop for souvenirs, enjoy a cup of strong tea, and practice your bargaining skills (coached of course by your willing guide).
