Half-Day Canyoning in Gibbston Valley from Queenstown

Meet your guide and small group of no more than 10 people on Beach Street in central Queenstown, 15 minutes before your tour departure time (9am or 1:30pm depending on the option selected).

After a scenic 20-minute drive, arrive at the Kawarau Canyon and get suited up for your canyoning activity as your guide, an experienced canyoning instructor, talks you through the basic techniques and safety procedures. Once you’re ready, set out into the canyon and spend around two hours scrambling up cliffs, abseiling down waterfalls, and whizzing down natural water slides.

Back on land, you’ll have time to dry off and get changed, before being driven back to Queenstown.
