Ha Giang Loop 3 Day Motorbike Tour
Day 0: Getting to Ha Giang
- First option: Going from Ha Noi to Ha Giang by bus ( Depart time: 11 am; 5 pm; 8 pm)
- Second option: Travel from Sapa to Ha Giang by bus ( Depart time: 9:30 am; 4 pm)
- Third option: From Ha Long Bay to Ha Giang by bus ( Depart time: 7:30 pm)
- Fourth option: From Cat Ba to Ha Giang by bus ( Depart time: 4 pm)
We have free sleeping dorms when you arrive at Ha Giang, if you have requests for a private room, please contact us in advance to check for an available room.
Day 1: Ha Giang City - Quan Ba Heaven Gate - Yen Minh Town
-7:30 am: You will be woken up and start your morning routine, after which you can enjoy the breakfast prepared at our hostel. After breakfast, you can pick the helmets of your choice and meet the tour guide to be informed about the tour schedule.
-8:30 am: Depart and travel on the 4C national highway, checking in at Bac Sum Pass.
-9:30 am: Continue moving and the next stop is Khau Lan Waterfall, a small remote wilderness location that has a low number of visitors, we will have 40 minutes for visitors to check in and freely swim/shower.
- Our next stop is Quan Ba Heaven Gate, where you can have a panoramic view of the majestic mountains of Quan Ba district and Tam Son town.
-12:30 pm: Stop to rest and have lunch at Quan Ba.
-14:00 pm: Continue the journey to Nam Dam Village, the peaceful village in the middle of the forest. The majority of the village is Dao Ao Dai people, keeping the traditional ways of life and many long-standing customs and traditions.
-14:30 pm: Visiting brocade weaving village located in Lung Tam village, where you can witness the quintessence of H’mong people.
-15:00 pm: Continue the journey to Yen Minh district, on the journey to Yen Minh, you can enjoy the majestic valleys with long terraced fields and the typical cat ear rock mountains of Ha Giang.
-17:00 pm: Arrived at Yen Minh, you can check in at Tom Homestay to rest after a day of travel and have dinner, enjoy leavened corn wine, and sing karaoke together to satisfy your hidden passion for music.
Day 2: Yen Minh - Vuong House - Lung Cu Flagpole - North Pole - Dong Van.
- 7:30: Wake up and have breakfast at the homestay, prepare your luggage, and continue your journey to explore Ha Giang Loop
- 8:30: Check in at Shen Ma Pass with challenging winding turns and breathtaking natural scenery
- 9:00: Check in at the Chin Khoanh slope and see the entire Sung Valley, a place known as a miniature Sweden.
- 10:00: Visit Lao Xa Village, which has pristine beauty and also holds many unique features of the H'mong people and is famous for the hand-crafted silver jewelry casting.
- 11:00: Move to visit Nha Vuong, a unique architectural work located in the heart of Dong Van Rock Plateau, in Sa Phin commune. This is the residence of Meo King Vuong Chinh Duc, who used to rule this land in the late 19th century - early 20th century. With ancient architecture and the harmonious combination of Chinese, Hmong, and French cultures.
- 12:30: After visiting Nha Vuong, we will stop and have lunch at Sa Phin.
- 13:30: Continue the journey to the northernmost point, the first place of the Vietnamese homeland, the border between Vietnam and China.
- 14:30: Visit Lo Lo Chai village, a small village with traditional earthen-walled house architecture, a peaceful space located at the foot of Dragon Mountain.
- 15:30: Continue the journey to Dong Van district, This place is not only famous for the Dong Van Rocky Plateau - UNESCO Global Geopark, but also owns majestic natural landscapes, ancient ethnic villages, and unique culture.
- 16:30: Stop traveling to take pictures and check in at beautiful places where you can have a panoramic view of the valley.
- 17:30: Arrive at Dong Van, Check in at Hotel to rest, and have dinner at 7:30 pm.
Day 3: Dong Van - Ma Pi Leng Pass - Meo Vac - Lung Ho - Ha Giang
- 7:30: Wake up to have breakfast and continue the journey to explore the Dong Van stone plateau.
- 8:30: We can visit the fair market if it is on Sunday, then we will move to Ma Pi Leng Pass, Ma Pi Leng Pass is known as one of the "four great passes" of Vietnam, famous for its rugged roads, steep cliffs, and spectacular natural scenery.
- 9:00: check-in and take pictures at Ma Pi Leng Pass
- 10:00: Trekking at the White Cliff
- 11:00: Move to the Meo Vac district, see and take pictures of the Meo Vac district from above.
- 12:00 noon: Stop to rest and have lunch at Mau Due commune
- 13:00: Continue the journey and move to Lung Ho Valley to check in and take pictures, However, on the way there are still many passes and surprisingly beautiful scenery, so we can stop to take pictures anywhere we want.
- 17:00: End of the journey to explore Ha Giang for 3 days and 2 nights, you can rest at the hostel and take a shower while waiting for the Bus to pick you up to move to the next journey. Here are some suggestions of our bus hours for you:
=> Option 1: Ha Giang to Hanoi: 17:30PM or 21:00
=> Option 2: Ha Giang to Sapa: 18:30
=> Option 3: Ha Giang to Cat Ba: 19:00
=> Option 4: Ha Giang to Ha Long Bay: 19:30
