Guided tour of the Basilica of Fourvière and Gallo-Roman site of Lyon

In a green setting, the preserved site of Fourvière overhangs the city to almost 120 meters and thus offers superb panoramas. The whole is registered in the UNESCO perimeter since 1998.

This tour proposes to discover three emblematic places of the hill.

The belvedere for a general presentation of the current city of Lyon

The basilica ND de Fourvière and its singular history (with comments inside the building)

Finally, the ancient theaters to evoke these places of entertainment still used today but also an ideal place to tell the story of the founding of the city 2000 years ago and its development.

The visit will then propose to walk down to Vieux Lyon via a stop on the oldest medieval houses of Lyon.
