Guided Small-Group Tour to Brazilian Side of Iguassu Falls

Summary

Your tour begins with convenient pickup at centrally located Foz do Iguaçu hotels at 8:15am; those staying in outlying areas will meet the group at Del Rey Hotel, Rua Tarobá, 1020 - Centro, Foz do Iguaçu. In a comfortable tour vehicle, head to Iguassu Falls National Park, where your guide will fill you in on the park's environment before taking a panoramic bus trip to Iguassu Falls, passing through the subtropical forest. Hit the trail for a 3/4-mile (1.2-km) walk to the Brazilian side of the falls, where a catwalk extends out over the brink of the series of falls that make up Devil's Throat (Garganta do Diablo). This is where you might want to put on your poncho to protect yourself from the falls' mighty spray.  Refuel with lunch at the restaurant inside the national park (own expense) before heading back to your hotel for drop-off.

Why take this tour?

Potamophobia is the fear of running water. Here's hoping you don't suffer from this strange phobia because this Iguassu Falls tour features lots of running water in high definition 3D, with surround sound! You'll see and feel the fury of the falls from many vantage points, so bring your wet weather gear (a flimsy plastic poncho won't cut it)!
