Summary

Guided hike to access the Lary, an accessible summit on the heights of Gavarnie, this belvedere offers fantastic views of the ridges of the Cirque de Gavarnie and the Vignemale. Away from the crowd, we will lead you on this beautiful wild and spectacular route which crosses the high lawns among the irises where the marmots trot. Isards are also present on more rocky areas and offer us the spectacle of their flight. We will have a picnic at the top in front of the summit ridges of the Gavarnie circus and the famous Roland breach before descending through the neighboring valley to catch up with the GR10 long-distance hiking trail above the Ossoue valley. During this hike, your guide will tell you about the geology of Gavarnie, the fauna and flora of the Pyrenean mountain. A beautiful day in the mountains to breathe at full lung. Hiking accessible to most walkers in good physical condition without being athletes and to children from 12 years old. Elevation of 750 m positive and 6 h 00 of effective walking.
