Guided Day Trip to Weekly Market at Atlas Mountains from Marrakech

During this day trip , you will have chance to visit the weekly market of Tahenaout town or Asni Town!

If you choose to depart on a Tuesday, you will be picked up from your Hotel in Marrakech at 10am, and head towards the Atlas Mountains, namely to Tahenaout town which is about 25km away from Marrakech. It will take around 30 minutes drive! Once you get to Tahenaout, you will have a guided walk around this very traditional market which takes place once a week. This markets gets very busy; lots of local people come from the nearby valleys and high mountains to buy their needs for the following week, and it is usually the chance to meet friends and relatives and have a chat! Other people come to sell their products there!

If you choose Saturday departure, you will be picked up from your Hotel in Marrakech at 9am, and head towards the Atlas Mountains, namely to Asni town which is about 48 km away from Marrakech. It will take around 1h drive! Once you get to Asni you will have a guided walk around this very traditional market which takes place once a week. This markets gets very busy as any other weekly market; lots of local people come from the nearby valleys & high mountains to buy their needs for the following week, and it is usually the chance to meet friends and relatives and have a chat! Other people come to sell their products there!

After the visit of the market, you will continue driving to Imlil valley where you will have lunch at a guesthouse before you go on a short guided walk around some Berber villages; it will take around 1:30 hour walk. After that, you will be picked up and drive back to Marrakech. Drop off at your hotel if it's accessible by car.
