Guaranteed Whale Watch in Kona

Meet at Honokohau Harbor for your whale watching cruise in Kailua-Kona. Board a boat that features a large cabin and a top observation deck. There’s plenty of room to move around and find a spot you prefer to be in to watch for whales in the water.

As your cruise the waters, make sure to look out for whales. From humpback whales to pilot whales and false killer whales, you’re guaranteed to catch a glimpse of at least one whale or you can ride the cruise again. Also, as you go, have your camera ready to snap pictures of the scenic ocean views.

Your cruise is meant to be relaxing, so take advantage of the time you have, and enjoy snacks that are provided for you. Once your time is up, your ship docks back at Honokohau Harbor for you to go about your day.

From December through March/April, the magnificent Humpback whales make their yearly migration from Alaska to Hawaii. Join us for a 2.5-hour tour on a comfortable, roomy boat and experience a close encounters with some of the biggest creatures in the ocean.
