Great Wall at Mutianyu from Beijing by Bus with Lunch

Mutianyu Great Wall was first built in the mid-6th century during the Northern Qi, which is much earlier than the Badaling section. You will arrive at Mutianyu Great Wall around 9:30am. The round-trip hike is about 3.72823 miles (6 km) and takes about 3 hours to complete. As one of the best-preserved parts of the Great Wall, the Mutianyu section was used to serve as the northern barrier, which defended the capital and the imperial tombs. It’s known for its beautiful surroundings which includes dense woods and rich pastures that change colors with the seasons of a year. Hiking will end around 1:30pm. Your lunch will be served in a Chinese restaurant near by the Great Wall and then you will return downtown and be dropped off along the subway station.
