This safari is primarily focused on seeing the Great Wildebeests Migration, the Africa’s most famous and world’s largest wildlife migration with chances of seeing them crossing the Mara River along the border of Northern Tanzania (Serengeti) and Southern Kenya (Maasai Mara).
The best time to see the crossing is between July to Mid October. The Mara River crossings are not a single event, rather crossings occur throughout the dry season (July to October). Groups varying in size from a few hundreds to tens of thousands cross the river in both directions.
In addition to seeing the migration, you will witness other incredible wildlife in their natural habitat including the "Big Five". Apart from Serengeti, you will also visit other remarkable destinations like Ngorongoro crater, Tarangire & Lake Manyara.
This safari can also be a blend of wildlife viewing, cultural immersion encounters, recreational adventures, environmental education and or community based programs.
