Your morning starts with pickup from your Williams, Flagstaff, or Grand Canyon/Tusayan area hotel in an air-conditioned coach. After the drive to Grand Canyon National Park’s South Rim, stop at Yavapai Point for your first views of the canyon.
Skip the lines at the visitor center and the crowds trying to get into the parking lots, and walk a bit of the Rim Trail with your guide. From here, you’ll be able to get a real sense of the depth of the canyon and see its rock layers up close.
Learn about the Grand Canyon’s geologic history and keep an eye out for deer, elk, bighorn sheep, or a California condor, the most endangered bird of prey in the world. Next head out to Navajo country and order lunch off the menu at a local restaurant.
Drive back along the South Rim, stopping at a few lookout points, and then end your tour with hotel drop-off in Williams, Flagstaff, or Grand Canyon/Tusayan.
