Grand Canyon Helicopter and Kayak Adventure

Good time. But Joe the driver would not stop talking about himself. Otherwise I would give it a higher rating.

We had a great experience. Everyone was very professional and welcoming. It was easy to contact the tour company for questions ahead of time. The driver, Joe, was able to provide us with the background on the areas we were driving through. Andrew was our Kayaking guide and he was really nice. It was a beautiful day and the views were incredible. The water was crystal clear. We liked that it was a small group of people. Since there weren’t enough people for our morning helicopter flight, the tour company upgraded us to a tour that included stopping to see the sunset & enjoying some champagne. We appreciated the effort they went through as we didn’t have flexibility to do the tour another day. Mike, our helicopter pilot, took good care of us and made the flight as smooth as possible. All in all, we had a good time! Thank you to Joe, Andrew and Mike!! Recommend doing the helicopter tour first though, if possible, as we felt quite tired after being outside in the sun kayaking for a few hours.

**An absolutely amazing 5-star experience from start to finish!** We booked this total package tour last minute, and the customer service was incredible right from the start. There was a schedule shuffle the day before, but the company handled everything flawlessly, keeping us updated with a few quick phone calls for verification. Our itinerary was switched so that we did the kayaking portion first and the helicopter flight second—and honestly, I am so glad it worked out that way! It ended up being the perfect flow for the day. Like most travelers, we booked this vacation to escape reality and work stress, and this company delivered exactly that. Our driver for most of the day, Joey, was absolutely fantastic. I was feeling pretty nervous at first, but Joey is so entertaining and fun to talk to that he didn't give me any time to stay nervous! He is a true born-and-raised local who genuinely loves his city and the company he works for. It is so refreshing to meet people who have that much joy for what they do, and he set an amazing tone for the day. The kayaking portion of our package was run by their partner company, Blazin' Paddles, where we had Chelsea as our guide. Because of our schedule swap, my husband and I couldn't leave our lunches or bags in the van like the rest of the group, which triggered a major moment of internal anxiety for me on the riverbanks. Chelsea didn’t know the depth of what I was dealing with internally, but she picked up on my frustration immediately and jumped right in to help. She gave me massive reassurance, took our lunches to carry herself, and put my nerves at ease instantly. She is a walking textbook of history, has a contagious energy, and acted as our personal cheerleader—even motivating me through a brutal headwind on the paddle back. She made us feel completely included and went totally above and beyond. To cap off an already perfect day, the helicopter portion was breathtaking. Our pilot, Andrew, was incredibly nice, professional, and knowledgeable. Seeing the Grand Canyon from above is truly the ultimate experience and something I will never forget. This entire package was worth every single penny. If you are looking for an escape with a company that employs passionate, attentive, and joyful people, book this tour immediately!

We had no kayaking experience but Don at Blazing paddles was awesome! And Christina, our helicopter pilot with 5Star makes us feel safe and was a great tour guide over the canyon! We had such a great time! Our shuttle bus drivers were so great too! Steven and Joe were informative and courteous and everyone just made our whole experience wonderful!

Andrew and Jamaica were awesome Scene was great. Total experience was amazing. Would highly recommend this adventure.
