Meet your guide in Central Granada in the afternoon and proceed on foot to the city’s Cathedral to start your architecture-themed visit.
Learn about the Cathedral’s construction by Spain’s Queen Isabella on the site of a former mosque, and get an introduction to its “Spanish Renaissance” architecture as you admire its façade and intricate interior. You’ll continue after the Cathedral to the Royal Chapel, a religious structure dedicated to St. John the Evangelist and St. John the Baptist and built between 1505 and 1517 in the “Isabeline Gothic” style.
You’ll return to your original departure point at the end of the excursion.
